# Publish, distribute, and manage a survey

> Review the final survey, publish it safely, monitor invitations, and close the response window.

Publishing moves a survey from an editable draft into an active response flow. Review carefully before this step.

## Before publishing

* Preview the survey on the expected device size.
* Confirm question wording and order.
* Verify the audience and invitation emails.
* Check demographics and the anonymity threshold.
* Confirm the closing date and communication plan.

## Publish and distribute

For a shared-link survey, Culture Vibe creates a short public survey URL. For an employee audience, invitation records use private tokens and can be sent through the invitation workflow.

## Monitor participation

Use the survey status and invitation information to track completed and pending responses. Send reminders thoughtfully; repeated pressure can reduce trust.

## Close the survey

Closing ends the response window and starts final analytics processing. Results and AI-generated themes may take a short time to appear while background analysis completes.

<Note>
  Keep the survey open long enough to include people across schedules and locations, but avoid extending it repeatedly without explaining why.
