# Create a pulse program

> Set cadence, channels, audience, question pool, and privacy controls.

The pulse wizard organizes program setup into **Basics**, **Channels**, **Pool**, and **Review**.

    Name the program, choose its cadence, and set the response window. Pick a rhythm leaders can actually support.

## Design a sustainable cadence

A shorter interval is not automatically better. Choose a frequency that leaves time to review results, communicate what was heard, and take visible action.

## Balance stable and rotating content

Stable questions support trends. Rotating questions keep the program relevant. Too much rotation makes cycles difficult to compare; too little makes the pulse repetitive.
