# Set up your workspace

> Configure the company profile and reporting dimensions used across Culture Vibe.

Complete workspace setup before launching surveys. Stable company data makes audience selection and analysis easier later.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Complete the company profile">
    Add the company name, industry, size, and other requested details during onboarding.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Define reporting dimensions">
    In **Settings**, review departments, job levels, locations, and other available dimensions. Use names that employees and leaders recognize.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add employees">
    Build the roster manually or import a CSV. Each employee record should use the same dimension values configured in settings.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review benchmark settings">
    Confirm the company cohort before relying on benchmark comparisons. Eligibility also depends on Culture Vibe's contribution rules.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Keep dimensions clean

* Choose one spelling for each value.
* Avoid near-duplicates such as “People” and “People team.”
* Do not create segments so narrow that anonymity thresholds will hide them.
* Update dimensions before launching a survey when possible.

<Warning>
  Changing a label later does not rewrite the historical context of every response. Document material reorganizations so trend interpretation remains honest.
</Warning>

## Finish onboarding

Culture Vibe keeps the dashboard setup flow active until onboarding is completed. Use the setup checklist on the home page to find missing items.

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Can I add a dimension after launch?">
    You can update workspace settings, but a new field cannot retroactively appear on responses that did not capture it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why is a segment hidden in results?">
    The segment may be below the configured anonymity threshold or may not have enough completed responses.
